First exposed to sports injuries a child gymnast, Dr. Dani learned early that small changes in nutrition, routine, and workout schedules could prevent injury. With the help of physicians and coaches, she had an early understanding of her own physiology and she developed a desire to help other athletes through their struggles.
Inspired by an interest in young athlete health & wellness, Dr. Dani completed a residency in pediatrics at New York University Medical Center where she worked with young athletes of all ages and performance levels.
She went on to complete a fellowship in Sports Medicine at University of Maryland. There, Dr. Dani expanded her scope, working with both children and adults. Her training included work with the NCAA Division I Terrapins from University of Maryland Terrapins, and the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League.
While certain injuries may be more common, Dr Dani recognizes that every patient is an individual who deserves specialized care and attention and a treatment plan that best suits their lifestyle and goals.
